Location: Lisbon, Portugal
Work Regime: Full‑time & Hybrid (2–3 days in office per week)
Overview / Summary: Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and processing solutions in cloud environments. Focus on Spark, Kafka, SQL, Databricks, and Azure or GCP platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Spark, Kafka and SQL.
- Implement scalable data processing solutions in Azure or GCP.
- Collaborate with data scientists and business teams to support analytics and reporting.
- Optimize data workflows for performance and reliability.
- Maintain documentation and ensure best practices in data engineering.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
- Hands‑on experience with Python or Scala, Spark, Kafka, SQL, and Databricks.
- Experience with Azure or GCP cloud platforms.
- Ability to design scalable, maintainable data pipelines.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Overview / Summary: Build and maintain data platforms capable of storing, processing, orchestrating and analyzing data across all sources.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms.
- Collect, process, and analyze large, complex data sets from various sources.
- Implement data processing workflows with Spark, Apache Beam, Flink, Kafka, etc.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Ensure data security and privacy through access controls and encryption.
- Monitor system performance and optimize for high availability and scalability.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Experience with GCP and its data engineering services.
- Proficiency with Big Data tools (Spark, Flink, Kafka, Elastic Search, Hadoop, Hive, Sqoop, etc. ).

Senior Software & Data Engineer
Location: Lisbon, Portugal
Work Regime: Hybrid (office once or twice per week)
Overview / Summary: Lead technical discussions and drive architectural efforts, focusing on Spring Boot, Azure SQL, Azure Dev
Ops, and Databricks/Scala/Spark.
Responsibilities:
- Develop microservices and RESTful APIs with Azure SQL, Azure Dev
Ops, and Databricks/Scala/Spark. - Support and drive architectural design (HLD, DDD).
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders for delivery excellence.
- Participate in troubleshooting, testing, build processes, and promote Dev
Ops practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in Spring Boot, microservices, database integration, and RESTful API development.
- Strong knowledge of architectural patterns, Dev
Ops/CI‑CD pipelines, Git, build tools, testing, caching, messaging, troubleshooting. - Experience with Scrum methodology and tools.
- Experience with Azure (preferred) and AWS (acceptable).
- Excellent communication skills, resilience and a passion for technology.
- English proficiency (written and spoken).
- European Union citizenship, Portuguese working visa or residency.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Databricks.
