Hays is seeking a Data Engineer to join our team in Lisbon (Oeiras Park). If you're passionate about data engineering, cloud technologies, and analytics, this is your chance to work with cutting-edge platforms like Azure, Databricks, and Data Factory while collaborating with business stakeholders.

? Responsibilities:

? Design and deliver data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and Synapse

? Evolve data models and repository schemas for better performance

? Gather requirements and ensure alignment with business needs

? Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing frameworks

? Propose and implement platform and process improvements

? Maintain security and compliance according to IT standards and ITIL framework

? Qualifications:

✅ Strong Data Engineering experience

✅ Hands-on with Py
Spark and SQL

✅ Familiarity with Azure Cloud Infrastructure (preferred)

✅ Experience interacting with APIs for data integration

✅ Practical knowledge of Databricks and Data Factory

✅ Understanding of data warehouse technologies and data modeling best practices

✅ Strong communication and collaboration skills
