Closer Consulting is a Data Science company founded in 2006 with the mission "To Challenge Complexity. " We specialize in Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence, serving diverse industries such as Banking, Telecommunications, Health, Retail, Energy, Insurance or Aviation. We are seeking a Mid Data Engineer to join the Banking Data Assets domain in a hybrid role based in Lisbon.

We are looking for a Mid Data Engineer to join a team working within the Banking Data Assets domain. The team is currently split into two main areas:

• Migration to a new
  - based data warehouse (DDA 2).
• Maintenance and enhancement of the current legacy data warehouse in Oracle (PL/SQL).

This role will be part of the Legacy team, which is responsible for:

• Developing updates and enhancements to existing procedures when business measures require changes.
• Performing data maintenance and correction.
• Resolving tickets by analysing data, collaborating with other teams, and providing clear responses to queries.

Nice to have

Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, as it will be relevant to upcoming migration activities.

Requirements

• Experience with Oracle databases and PL/SQL development.
• Strong analytical and

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and
  - technical teams.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
