We’re now expanding our engineering team with a highly technical and impactful role:

We are looking for a Data Engineer (Graph
DB) – Hybrid Lisbon or Porto

to lead the design, development, and operation of a Network Digital Twin powered by cutting‑edge graph database technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a scalable Network Digital Twin using graph databases (Neo4j, AWS Neptune, Spanner DB);
• Model multi‑domain topologies — physical, logical, virtual — including resources, services, devices, and relationships;
• Develop real‑time and batch ingestion pipelines from inventory systems, assurance platforms, telemetry streams, and orchestration systems;
• Define and execute Cypher, Gremlin or SPARQL queries for analytics, RCA, and network impact assessment;
• Integrate the digital twin with TMF APIs, SNMP, Kafka, REST APIs ensuring data integrity and consistency;
• Contribute to graph ontology/taxonomy design, metadata tagging, and domain‑specific extensions;
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to enable predictive models for anomaly detection, capacity forecasting, and failure prevention;
• Build dashboards and visualizations to explore and interact with the digital twin;
• Ensure data security, access control, and compliance across all graph‑driven components.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Data Engineering, or similar;
• 2+ years of experience with Graph Databases (Neo4j, AWS Neptune, etc. ) in production;
• OSS/BSS, network inventory systems, or digital twins;
• ETL pipelines, Kafka, Ni
  Fi, or Apache Camel;
• Background in Python, Java or Scala;
• TMF APIs (TMF638, TMF640, TMF633) is a plus;
• Graph visualization tools such as Neo4j Bloom, Graph
  XR, Gephi.

Nice to Have

• Background in telecom or large‑scale network environments;
• Understanding of AI/ML applied to graph data;
• Kubernetes, Docker and cloud‑native architectures;
• Exposure to Enterprise Knowledge Graphs or Digital Twin frameworks;
