Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load structured and unstructured data from various sources into data lakes and data warehouses.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions for data integration, storage, and analysis.
• Optimize data infrastructure and architecture for performance, scalability, and reliability, leveraging cloud‑based technologies.
• Implement data governance, data quality, and data security best practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and privacy compliance.
• Work closely with data scientists and analysts to provide clean, reliable, and well‑structured datasets for analysis and modeling.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and systems, ensuring high availability and uptime.
• Stay updated with latest technology trends in data engineering, recommending new tools and techniques.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data engineering processes, data models, and systems.
• Experience with Kafka or other streaming technologies.
• Experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
• Knowledge of BI reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a data engineering role.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience with Ia
  C tools (Terraform, Open
  Tofu, Terragrunt).
• Experience with Apache Spark.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and best practices.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of thriving in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
