As a Data Engineer at Ivy Partners, you will be expected to:

• Build and maintain data pipelines using Prefect and Airflow to orchestrate workflows that ingest, transform, and load data into Snowflake.
• Develop and manage data models using dbt, collaborating with other teams to ensure
  - quality,
  - documented, and maintainable transformations within Snowflake.
• Design and deploy cloud infrastructure on AWS, including the use of Lambda functions, EC2 instances, and other services to support scalable and resilient data workflows.
• Write and maintain Python code to support data ingestion, transformation, and automation tasks across the data platform.
• Work closely with
  - functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into scalable data components and pipelines.
• Monitor, debug, and optimize workflows to ensure reliability, performance, and
  - efficiency of the data platform.
• Implement CI/CD practices for data pipelines and infrastructure, leveraging AWS services and best practices for deployment.
• Collaborate on the evolution of the data architecture, contributing to improvements in how data is processed, modeled, and served to stakeholders.

About you!

• Strong experience with data orchestration tools.
• Proficiency in data transformation and modeling using DBT.
• Advanced SQL skills (Ability to write efficient, maintainable SQL for data modeling and analysis in Snowflake or similar modern warehouses).
• Python programming experience.
• Cloud infrastructure experience with AWS.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Good level of English, Portuguese and French is a plus.
