We are looking for an Data Engineer for a project in Lisbon!

Responsibilities:

Leverage large volumes of data from internal sources.

Develop, maintain, and support data pipelines.

Understand and be the point of contact for the business and assess its needs

Ensure architecture meets business requirements

Recommend ways to efficiently provide quality data and added value.

Communicate technical information to
- technical stakeholders, including data analysts, product managers, and business leaders

Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering
- quality results.

Requirements:

Academic background in Engineering, Economics, Computing, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields

3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in data architecture

Availability to work in the hybrid model or in person in the Lisbon or Porto office

Professional experience in any data visualization tool such as Tableau or Power BI

Professional experience in data analysis with programming, preferably Python (Pandas)

Proficiency in SQL

Fluency in written and spoken English

Ability to analyze, synthetize and simplify.

Knowledge of descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing is a plus.

Knowledge in Big Data technology such as Pyspark, Presto and Airflow is a plus

Knowledge of Power Query and DAX is a plus

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with
- functional teams

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines

Fluency in English.

Tableau/Power
BI or other visualization tools is a plus.

CI / CD (Jenkins) is a plus.

Knowledge and interest in financial markets are a plus.
