About the Role: We are seeking a Data Engineer with 3-4 years of experience to help build and implement our educational data hub. This foundational platform will power our AI-driven product roadmap, enabling model
- tuning, personalized learning recommendations, and predictive learning pathways. The ideal candidate will work closely with our AI and product teams to create scalable data infrastructure that transforms educational experiences. Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable data pipelines that support model training/fine-tuning workflows
Build data streams that capture learner journeys and interactions for recommendation engines
Develop data structures optimized for predictive analytics on learning behaviors and outcomes
Create efficient ETL processes that transform educational content into
- ready formats
Implement data storage solutions that support both public and private content processing
Collaborate with AI engineers to optimize data accessibility for personalization algorithms
Support the development of analytics frameworks for measuring learning pathway effectiveness
Help establish data governance practices that ensure security and compliance across educational sectors
Required Qualifications3-4 years of professional experience in data engineering roles
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
Experience with data processing frameworks (Apache Spark, Databricks, or similar)Proficiency in Python and familiarity with data processing libraries
Knowledge of ETL design patterns and best practices
Understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques
Experience with version control systems (Git)Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Azure data services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks)Familiarity with vector databases and embedding storage solutions
Knowledge of data structures that support machine learning workflows
Experience with recommendation systems and personalization engines
Understanding of educational data models and learning analytics
Experience working with predictive modeling data requirements
Knowledge of data security requirements in educational contexts
Compensation
Salary range: €40, 000 - €60, 000 annually, based on experience and qualifications
