Data Engineer

Skills

1. Design, build, and manage data pipelines for complex data structures, including data transformation, data models, schemas, metadata, and workload management.
2. Leverage Microsoft Azure Data technologies such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Edge to develop robust, efficient, and reliable data pipelines.
3. Implement scalable and resilient ETL/ELT processes to support business needs.
4. Ensure the data architecture supports lineage, maintaining the history of data flow and transformations.
5. Work on data streaming projects, handling
   - time data processing for edge computing scenarios.
6. Collaborate with
   - functional teams to develop solutions for data ingestion, cleansing, and aggregation.
7. Develop and maintain comprehensive data dictionaries and classifications to document data lineage, providing clear definitions, dependencies, and data sources to end users.
8. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
9. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data technologies and related tools.
10. Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
2. Experience in Microsoft Azure, with a focus on Azure Edge or related technologies.
3. Strong communication and reporting skills.
4. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a dynamic environment.
5. Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory).
