We are looking for a Data Engineer Tech Lead. Join a growing international data team working on impactful projects in the payments domain. You will design and implement scalable data solutions, leveraging Big Data technologies, GCP services, and modern data architectures.

Main Tasks:

• Act as a technical reference in the development of
  - scale data processing solutions (e. g. unstructured,
  - text, graph data);
• Design and build
  - time and batch data pipelines for smart
  - driven features (e. g. search, recommendation, classification);
• Operate and monitor data services in a production environment, improving data quality and automation;
• Lead the deployment of data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP);
• Work closely with Data Scientists and Analysts to integrate models and algorithms into scalable workflows;
• Support and mentor the team on technical issues, best practices, and architecture decisions.

Key Technologies & Tools:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field;
• At least 3 years of experience designing scalable data systems
• Big Data tools (Spark, Hadoop);
• Programming languages (Python, Java, Scala);
• Data storage technologies (SQL/No
  SQL, data lakes, lakehouses);
• Hands-on experience building data pipelines on GCP, using tools such as: Big
  Query, Big
  Table, Dataproc, GCS, Composer, GKE; YAML/low-code for ETL orchestration;
• Strong SQL and experience in Business Intelligence analysis;
• Experience with Airflow, Jupyter, and workflow orchestration tools;
• Understanding of CI/CD, Dev
  Ops tools (e. g. , Jenkins, Terraform, Git, Bitbucket);
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum/SAFe);
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts or Information Retrieval is a plus;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Power BI is a bonus.
