Data Engineer w/ Databricks Porto

We are an international technology company based in Portugal with over 500 employees, focusing on technology and centers of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and DBT.
• Automate data extraction from the Level system to operational systems, data lakes, and reporting layers.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer in a complex IT environment, preferably in the financial sector or customer journey domains.
• Strong skills in SQL (efficient and scalable queries).
• Proven experience with Python.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure (Azure Data Factory, Azure Dev
  Ops, Databricks).
• Solid understanding of data modeling and data management best practices.
• Structured working style and strong collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with a drive to improve processes and systems.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
