Responsibilities

• Utilize your expert knowledge of AWS services like Lambda, Glue, and Step Functions to design, implement, and maintain scalable data solutions.
• Develop robust solution architectures focusing on scalability, performance, security, and cost optimization.
• Demonstrate mastery in cloud networking, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and routing tables.
• Optimize SQL queries and data models for peak query performance.
• Manage and oversee ETL processes and data integration into platforms like Redshift, My
  SQL, and Postgre
  SQL.
• Implement orchestration solutions using tools like Apache Airflow and AWS Step Functions.
• Write comprehensive solution documents and share knowledge through training and technical documentation.
• Provide technical leadership and serve as a subject matter expert in AWS and data engineering technologies.

About You

You are our ideal candidate if you:

• Are deeply experienced with AWS services, including Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, Cloud
  Formation, and Cloud
  Watch.
• Have strong skills in Python and databases, with experience in both relational (My
  SQL, Postgre
  SQL, Redshift) and No
  SQL databases.
• Are proficient in solution architecture, with a talent for designing scalable and efficient data solutions on AWS.
• Possess knowledge in ETL tools and experience with large data volumes, preferably with expertise in Iceberg tables.
• Demonstrate excellent technical leadership and communication skills, adept at collaborating with
  - functional teams.
• Have strong analytical and
  - solving skills, capable of translating business requirements into innovative technical solutions.
• Familiarity with additional platforms like Azure and technologies like Databricks is a plus.
