As a Data Governance Consultant, you’ll ensure our systems and data models align with enterprise data strategy, from design to decommissioning. You’ll play a key role in structuring, modeling, and governing data across its full lifecycle. We have a strong footprint in the Banking sector with a lot of challenges for you!

Location: Lisbon or Porto

Main Responsibilities

• Translates project goals into data architecture aligned with the data strategy.
• Designs and manages conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support business needs.
• Defines how data is organized, accessed, and labeled across systems, in line with architectural standards.
• Contributes to the development and implementation of data governance policies, processes, and best practices.
• Works closely with
  - functional teams and stakeholders to ensure data consistency and clarity.
• Enriches the Data Architecture Framework and continuously enhances data quality and compliance.
  
  

• + 4 years of experience in Consulting, Data and
  - related projects.
• Proficiency in English and French (mandatory).
• Knowledge/experience in data governance tools (e. g. , Informatica, Microsoft Purview, Collibra).
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence and/or Share
  Point and experience with Avolution Abacus or similar Enterprise Architecture tools.
• Knowledge of frameworks such as TOGAF, DAMA, CMMI DMM.
• Knowledge in market
  - models, taxonomies, and ontologies (Fp
  ML, CDM, ISO20022).
• Expertise in translating business needs into actionable data solutions, as well as designing and implementing robust data governance frameworks, including policies, standards, and procedures that support effective data management.
• Know-how in analyze and document business workflows and apply principles of functional, application, and enterprise architecture, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
• Strong
  - solving and analytical skills.
