Who are you?

We are looking for a motivated Data IntegrationEngineer to join our IT team based in Lisbon. This role will report to our Business Intelligence Manager and will play a pivotal role in our organization. You would contribute to our most important deliverables and help us deliver on our mission to grow and mature the IT organization.

Data Integration Engineers are responsible for ensuring that various business systems work in harmony to promote efficiency and enhance business operations. They analyze system requirements, design integration solutions, and implement changes that align with our business goals. Data Integration Engineers collaborate closely with
- functional teams, including software developers, project managers, and stakeholders, to streamline processes and enhance system functionality. They are instrumental in troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring seamless communication between various software applications.

The main responsibilities of the successful candidate include:

• Analyze business requirements and document system integration needs;
• Design and develop data integration solutions between various business applications;
• Implement and configure middleware solutions to facilitate data exchange;
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams to gather project requirements and deliver solutions;
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to system integration;
• Monitor system performance and optimize integration processes for efficiency;
• Conduct testing and validation to ensure successful integration and functionality.

What can you bring to the table?

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in system integration and middleware technologies.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of APIs, web services, and data exchange protocols;
• Experience with enterprise application integration (EAI) tools and frameworks;
• Experience with Zapier, Power Automate or Microsoft Fabric;
• Excellent
  - solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools especially Agile.
