We’re currently partnering with an amazing client and looking for a Data Lead to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities 1. Data Strategy & Insights - Act as the organisation’s data champion, ensuring accuracy, security, and effective utilisation of data.

- Deliver a single source of truth for the business, enabling confident and
- quality
- making.

- Analyse and interpret data to provide actionable insights that give the company a competitive advantage.

- Partner with business units to understand data needs and recommend effective, scalable solutions.

- Identify and drive initiatives to reduce data silos, duplication, and inefficiencies. 2. Data Governance & Technical Delivery - Oversee data governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company risk appetite.

- Maintain and optimise data architecture, including data lakes, warehouses, and
- time processing systems.

- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to improve data quality, infrastructure performance, and cost efficiency.

- Ensure the delivery of reliable, accurate, and
- time data across the organisation.

- Collaborate
- functionally to ensure consistent and secure data sharing and usage. 3. Leadership & Team Development - Lead and inspire a team of data engineers, BI developers, and analysts in line with People Leader Principles.

- Set clear expectations, communicate purpose, and foster a resilient,
- performance culture.

- Coach and develop team members to enhance their skills, performance, and career growth.

- Create an open and safe environment that encourages trust, collaboration, and honest communication.

- Align team goals with business objectives, ensuring clarity on how each role contributes to success. Requirements -Essential - Proven leadership experience in managing data teams (data engineers, BI developers, analysts), preferably in Saa
S or
- based businesses.

- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.

- Track record of owning and executing data strategies, governance frameworks, and data quality initiatives.

- Technical expertise in data engineering, BI, analytics, and architecture.

- In-depth knowledge of database architecture, relational data modelling, data lake and warehouse design, performance optimisation, and scaling.

- Experience with SQL and No
SQL systems.

- Hands-on experience with Azure Dev
Ops and
- based infrastructure.

- Understanding of risk and compliance management, including data security, encryption, and privacy regulations.

- Experience working across the full technology stack (server-side, database, cloud,
- end).

-Desirable - Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Experience with Agile (Scrum) project management methodologies.
