Overview
We have built the data platform over the last few years to enable PMI’s data and analytics driven transformation journey. The data platform consists of

- art architecture and technologies e. g. database, data lake, data ingestion, ELT, Cloud, data orchestration, business intelligence, advanced analytics etc. Our team is responsible for building, evolving and operating the data platform for various PMI teams who build data products & applications on top of it. We are looking for a talented Platform Administrator to join our dynamic team and help us optimize and evolve our data infrastructure and streamline our operations. The ideal candidate would be an enthusiastic
- starter with deep expertise in complex backend structures capable of working with different integrated systems.
Responsibilities
- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
- Monitor and manage platform components with security, availability, resiliency and cost in mind
- Improve platform operation and automation focusing on performance, scalability and improving utilization
- Implement CI/CD and Dev
Ops best practices for software application teams and assist in executing the integration and operation processes - Deploy and integrate new Cloud service capabilities using CI/CD pipelines, ensuring maximum uptime of
- hosted environments, including production, staging, testing, authoring and development environments - Ensure security best practices are followed in all aspects of the development and deployment process in adherence to internal policy framework and are fully industrialized for consumption by customers and technology groups
- Provide full support to the software development teams to deploy, run and roll out new services and new capabilities in Cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate
- functionally on feature design, architectural decisions, and reducing technical debt - Participate and support the Agile methods and frameworks by taking part in planning events, daily
- ups, planning sessions, code reviews and other discussions and events - Stay

Qualifications
- Bachelor-'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience with Databricks, minimum 2 year experience: administer users in groups, manage compute resources, govern and secure the platform. Knowledge on how to configure Databricks on AWS
- Experience with database management systems (e. g. , SQL, No
SQL) - Experience in working with ETL orchestration and workflow management tools (eg DBT and Matillion)
- Experience with data warehousing solutions (e. g. , Snowflake, Redshift)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools and framework ( Grafana, ELK stack SIEM or Splunk)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git
Lab CI, Circle
CI) and practices - Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Power
Shell) - Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Ia
C) and platform as code (Pa
C) principles and tools like Terraform or Cloud
Formation - Excellent
- solving skills and attention to detail - Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of networking and security best practices
- Experience in managing and optimizing system performance and availability
- Certifications in mentioned technologies are very welcome
