Role: Privacy Advisor

Will be responsible for providing technical support on implementing the data protection compliance framework within the perimeter he/she is responsible for, i. e. , at Ayvens Portugal level.

Hybrid function: 3 days in the office and the possibility of 2 days remote work.

The key responsibilities of the Privacy Advisor include:

• Raising awareness among employees on data protection to facilitate identification and management of potential risks in projects and processes.
• Assisting Ayvens Portugal in implementing a data protection compliance program.
• Identifying and assessing data protection risks and advising on compliance with applicable laws, best practices, and internal policies to protect Ayvens' reputation.
• Investigating, resolving, and reporting data protection incidents, and implementing measures to prevent recurrence.

Skills Requirements

Hard skills:

• Expertise in Data Protection and related regulations.
• Experience advising on data protection best practices.
• Experience within the three lines of defense model.
• Ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Strong desire to implement data protection principles in processes.

Soft skills:

• Enthusiastic in raising awareness on data protection topics.
• Critical oversight of group data protection standards.
• Ability to influence best practices and add value to the business.
• Creative in explaining technical topics to diverse audiences.
• Personal style that influences and drives positive outcomes.
• Fluent in Portuguese; good written and spoken English.
