Job Description - Data Protection Specialist - M/F – Fluent in English - Porto – Open Ended Contract – Hybrid

The Data Protection Specialist will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving the data protection framework within BNP Paribas Cardif. The role involves transversal activities such as developing risk culture, reporting frameworks, and training plans, as well as specific data protection tasks like acting as Data Protection & Privacy Manager, ensuring compliance, and managing data processing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and support the organization's risk management and data protection frameworks.
• Ensure the execution of actions to prevent data protection incidents.
• Identify and address data protection alerts, escalating when necessary.
• Contribute to the documentation and systematic update of data processing activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in any field.
• 3-5 years of experience in internal control or risk management roles.
• Relevant certifications such as CIPP or CISM are preferred.
• High confidentiality, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English; Portuguese and French are a plus.
