Data Quality Analyst with spoken French (relocation to Belgium)
We are looking for Data Quality Analyst who is willing to relocate to join our Client’s team in Brussels, Belgium.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and prioritize data quality issues through proactive and reactive methods, define problems, and perform root cause analysis.
Propose and support the implementation of corrective actions, including IT developments, process updates, or manual remediation.
Support change management activities within impacted business teams to ensure sustainable adoption of solutions.
Monitor data quality through existing dashboards and participate in their redesign and continuous improvement.
Contribute to the design, maintenance, and governance of data documentation such as glossaries, dictionaries, and definitions.
Promote data quality awareness through active involvement in the Data Community and support communication efforts driven by the Chief Data Officer’s office.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define remediation plans and support the governance around critical data domains.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Quality Analyst (preferably within the banking sector).
Strong understanding of data lifecycle, data usage, and associated quality management principles.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to define and resolve
- related issues.
Proficiency in Office tools: Excel, MS Access, and Power
Point.
Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and French.
Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships and coordinate across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with banking data systems and databases.
Experience with data governance frameworks and tools such as Collibra or Ab Initio.
Knowledge of dashboard development or usage (e. g. Tableau).
Business Objects experience is a plus.
Exposure to digital ecosystems and understanding of digital transformation.
Hands-on experience with SQL, SAS, or Python is an advantage.
