What You Will Do In Data Science At OLX

• Lead the Data Science aspects in the Motors chapter.
• Mentor and manage a team of Data Scientists / MLEs.
• Partner with Motors Product, Tech and Business teams to support innovation and translate business requirements into Data Science projects.
• Find opportunities where Data Science can make a huge impact and scale out existing ML models and Gen
  AI applications.
• Translate business requirements into Machine Learning / Gen
  AI projects and track their impact on company goals.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and collaborate with SRE, Data Engineering, Product Analytics, and Product teams.
• Work in
  - functional, multinational teams with diverse backgrounds.
• Maintain focus on delivering value while having fun working together.

Who We’re Looking For

• Based in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area.
• Proficient in English with excellent written and oral communication skills; strong presentation skills.
• Able to work in diverse,
  - functional teams with people from different backgrounds.
• Experience in managing Data Science teams and very strong analytical skills.
• Solid background in statistics and modeling.
• Good knowledge of Python (e. g. , Scikit-Learn, Tensor
  Flow, Py
  Torch, Pandas).
• At least 4 years of
  - on Machine Learning experience (supervised, unsupervised, etc. ).
• Strong knowledge of NLP and Deep Learning (Embeddings, Language Models, Transformers).
• Good understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs);
  -
  - end implementation experience is a plus.
• Understanding of engineering practices (testing, CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, containers).
• Hands-on experience with SQL; MLOps experience is a plus.

Nice To Have

• Exposure to other programming languages (Kotlin, Java, Scala, etc. ).
• Experience deploying models to production and serving at scale.
• Experience with AWS for ML solutions, data pipelines using Spark and Airflow.
• Understanding of A/B testing and experimentation.
• Exposure to MLOps tools.
