Role Description

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our growing team and contribute to ZAAI’s core AI products. This role is
- suited for someone with 2+ years of experience who wants to grow while working on
- world AI systems used by retail companies.

You will work on our forecasting engine , and also help develop search and recommendation solutions , including the use of AI agents for data processing, retrieval, orchestration, and
- making. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, product leaders, and consultants in a supportive,
- on environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Contribute to the development and improvement of forecasting models for retail use cases such as demand and sales forecasting.
• Apply machine learning and statistical techniques to
  - series and transactional data.
• Help design and build search and recommendation systems , improving relevance, ranking, and personalization.
• Develop and experiment with agent-based AI systems for tasks such as data processing, feature generation, semantic retrieval, and automated analysis.
• Run experiments, evaluate model performance, and iterate based on results.
• Collaborate with engineers to deploy models into production and improve scalability and reliability.
• Work with consultants and clients to translate business problems into practical data science solutions.
• Monitor models and agents in production and help improve them over time.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist , ML Engineer, or in a related role.
• Strong foundations in machine learning, statistics, or related fields .
• Experience with Python and common data science tools (e. g. pandas,
  - learn, Py
  Torch, Tensor
  Flow).
• Interest or
  - on experience with AI agents , modern NLP systems, or
  - based architectures.
• Comfortable working with
  - world, imperfect data and learning new techniques as needed.
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas and results to both technical and
  - technical teammates.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience).

Bonus points if:

• You’ve worked with retail,
  - commerce, or supply chain data .
• You have experience with time-series forecasting or demand planning problems.
• You’ve built or experimented with agent-based systems for search, recommendations, or analytics.
• You’ve contributed to production AI or data products.
• You enjoy learning, experimenting, and growing in a collaborative team.
