Data Scientist
About Bandora:
At Bandora, we are shaping the future of building operations. Buildings are among the largest consumers of energy, accounting for nearly
- third of global CO2 emissions. Maintaining optimal indoor conditions in commercial buildings, especially those with multiple tenants, is a significant challenge. Bandora’s
- based platform leverages
- time Io
T data to provide intelligent dashboards, analytics, anomaly detection, and automation to eliminate energy waste and enhance occupant comfort. Our mission is to create autonomous, greener, and more comfortable buildings.

- edge models, and providing actionable insights. Your contributions will have a direct impact on how our
- functional team makes decisions and innovates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex datasets to uncover patterns and insights.
- Create clear and engaging data visualizations to effectively communicate findings.
- Develop, test, and optimize machine learning models.
- Assess model performance using historical data, simulations, and
- time production environments. - Improve existing algorithms and create new proofs of concept for innovative solutions in collaboration with domain experts.
- Work with software engineering teams during deployment to put
-
- end solutions into production. - Actively contribute to team discussions and
- driven
- making. - Document results, experiments, processes, methodologies, and interpretations in a structured and accessible manner.
Required Skills:
- MSc in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and
- solving abilities, coupled with a proactive mindset. - Good understanding of fundamentals of supervised and unsupervised learning (e. G. classification, deep learning, time series analysis, model optimization techniques, reinforcement learning, etc. ). Demonstrated expertise in at least one of these areas.
- Expertise in designing, executing, and analyzing experiments following robust scientific methodologies to ensure reproducibility.
- Proficiency in Python and Git, and basic understanding of SQL and databases in general.
