We’re Hiring: Data Scientist – ML Engineer

Location: Lisbon, Portugal (Full-time)

What You’ll Do

Design and deploy machine learning models and tailored AI solutions

Fine-tune and extend Large Language Models (LLMs), including
- source and commercial models

Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques for efficient AI solutions

Develop Generative AI models for content creation, automation, and innovation

Perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering

Apply traditional ML methods (decision trees, SVMs, neural networks, clustering)

Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders

Ensure
- quality AI solutions through rigorous testing and validation

Document and share technical knowledge for reproducibility

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or similar

3+ years’
- on experience in ML/AI development

Expertise in Generative AI (model training,
- tuning, deployment)

Experience with LLMs, both
- source and commercial

Proficiency in RAG techniques and vector databases

Advanced programming in Python (Tensor
Flow, Py
Torch, Hugging Face)

Strong background in NLP and traditional ML methods

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Knowledge of MLOps tools & practices

Fluency in English — willingness to learn French

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with RLHF, prompt engineering, ethical AI, model interpretability
