Data Solution Architect - Freelance Project (Portugal)

Location: Remote from Portugal (EU nationality & residence required)

Duration: Long-term project

Max Rate: €240/day (self-employed fee included)

Language: Advanced English (C1)

Role Purpose:

As a Data Solution Architect , you will be responsible for leading the technical delivery of data and analytics solutions for a strategic programme. You will manage architecture, integrations, and technical quality, collaborating with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements and comply with technology standards.

We are a recruitment agency specialising in IT profiles, originally from Ireland and present in Spain for over 10 years. The hiring will be made directly with the client, and we will support you throughout the entire selection process. We work with a variety of clients, ranging from
- ups to multinational companies.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the technology delivery of Data & Analytics products and services.

Analyse data and reporting requirements, assessing their impact on existing systems.

Define the solution architecture, data model, integrations, and ETL.

Oversee and validate technical implementation with Tech Leads and Architects.

Prepare and present solution blueprints, KDDs, and architecture documentation to relevant decision boards.

Ensure deliverables align with architecture principles and quality standards.

Manage risks, dependencies, and technical changes.

Allocate technical resources and resolve programme/project issues.

Collaborate closely with Architecture, Data, and Analytics teams for successful delivery.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.

10+ years' experience in data solutions, architecture, and analytics.

Proven technical leadership and team management experience.

Up-to-date knowledge of
- scale Data & Analytics technologies and trends.

Strong skills in quantitative/qualitative analysis and data visualisation for business
- solving.

Project management experience with multiple stakeholders.

Advanced English (C1 or above).

EU nationality and residence in Portugal. Availability to work as a freelancer/self-employed.
