We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Data Support Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will be mainly responsible for the operation and support of our main internal Platform for Data Ingestion, providing first and
- level support to ensure smooth and efficient data workflows behave as expected.
Additionally, you will develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems/dashboards to proactively identify and address potential issues.
What will you do
- Onboard internal stakeholders (systems) into the Platform.
- Provide first and
- level support for
- related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations. - Troubleshoot and resolve data ingestion and mapping issues, working closely with development and engineering teams as needed.
- Monitor and maintain the data ingestion workflow from end to end.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data contracts.
- Develop and implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address data issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, support procedures, and troubleshooting guides (with full autonomy).
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement improvements to data processes and workflows.
- Assist in the deployment of new Ingestions and Data contracts updates.

- related systems and processes.
What makes you a great fit
- University Degree or equivalent education/training.
- Previous experience in a Support Role.
- At least 2-3 years of experience working with Data Analysis/Mapping.
- Experience with Databricks (or Spark) and/or Azure Resources in the past (Microsoft Fabric as a plus).
- Comfortable with Python (Low code data application development expected, but would it be awesome for debugging and spotting improvements within the framework).
- Knowledge/Familiarity with Monitoring strategies and Observability practices.
- Structured
- solving skills. - Good communication skills in English.
