Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Work in collaboration with the implementation partner to validate the design, architecture, and deployment of the Microsoft Fabric Data Platform, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices;
• Provide guidance and technical mentorship to developers, data engineers, and analysts;
• Set standards for coding, data modelling, and solution design;
• Design and implement scalable and secure data solutions using Microsoft Fabric products and services;
• Lead and contribute to the design and development of data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and processing of large datasets;
• Ensure that the platform adheres to compliance, governance, and security standards;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture user stories, translate them into technical requirements, and refine them into actionable project plans;
• Work closely with Dev
  Ops teams to define and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes for the data platform;
• Liaise with DTS and business‑led technology teams to ensure secure and appropriate access to internal systems and applications;
• Collaborate with Data Analysts to maximize efficiency and value derived from the new platform;
• Conduct code reviews and enforce quality assurance practices to ensure high‑quality deliverables;
• Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize pipelines and processing workloads;
• Devise and implement testing strategies, including regression testing and automated validation, to ensure data accuracy and reliability;
• Develop comprehensive documentation for platform architecture, processes, and workflows;
• Provide or facilitate training and knowledge‑sharing sessions for team members and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric;
• Hands‑on experience in data modelling, ETL/ELT processes, and end‑to‑end data pipeline orchestration;
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Spark, and Scala;
• Proven experience in SQL;
• Familiarity with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform, Git
  Lab, Git
  Hub, or Azure Resource Manager templates;
• Experience with Azure Dev
  Ops and CI/CD pipelines;Strong understanding of security, governance, and compliance standards in data platforms;
• Proven experience leading technical teams and managing complex data projects;
• Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders;
• Ability to work collaboratively across diverse technical and business teams;
• Experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related fields;
• Previous experience leading end‑to‑end implementations of cloud data platforms.

• Fluent in English;
• Ability to simplify complex problems and obtain a workable solution;
• Customer focus and service delivery;
• Availability to work in EU.
