We are looking for a Database & BI Administrator who is willing to relocate to join our Client’s team in Brussels, Belgium.

Eligibility:

Candidate must have resided in Portugal for at least the past 5 years.

Portuguese citizenship is mandatory.

Candidate must be prepared to obtain EU security clearance upon accepting the job offer (with Hexa coordination).

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure high availability and reliability of services.

Define, maintain, and test backup and disaster recovery strategies.

Plan and implement upgrades and patches to keep platforms secure and up to date.

Administer and maintain the BI stack, including:

Oracle Analytics, Web
Logic, Apache, Tomcat

OBIEE, ODI, Oracle Analytics Server (OAS)

Select and configure database infrastructure to support business needs.

Install, reconfigure, and back up database systems (on-premises and cloud).

Develop automation tools to streamline database admin tasks.

Manage database software lifecycle and roadmap.

Monitor and report on performance statistics.

Provide 24/7 operational support and system administration for assigned platforms.

Required Qualifications:

Core Technical Knowledge:

Strong
- on experience with at least two of the following DBMS technologies:

Oracle, My
SQL Server, Postgre
SQL

Solid understanding of My
SQL High Availability/Disaster Recovery:

Inno
DB Cluster, Replicaset, Cluster
Set, My
SQL Replication

Experience with the Oracle BI ecosystem:

OBIEE, ODI, OAS, Oracle Analytics, Web
Logic

Knowledge of ORDS, Apache HTTP Server, and Tomcat administration.

Strong working knowledge of Linux/UNIX and Windows Server environments.

Understanding of HA, DR, clustering, and virtual infrastructure principles.
