Your Mission Will Be

• Oversee and
  - tune database systems across SQL Server (Azure Managed Instance), Postgre
  SQL, and Elasticsearch in Kubernetes environments;
• Monitor and enhance database performance to support scalable,
  - demand applications;
• Collaborate with Dev
  Ops and engineering teams to develop observability using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and the ELK stack;
• Ensure strong data protection and implement effective backup and disaster recovery strategies;
• Contribute to architectural decisions, deployment practices, and the creation of detailed technical documentation.

You Will Need

• Experience managing SQL Server and Postgre
  SQL databases;
• Practical knowledge of containerized databases in Kubernetes and Elasticsearch setups;
• Solid skills in query tuning,
  - cause analysis, and troubleshooting distributed database systems;
• Familiarity with cloud networking concepts such as DNS, private endpoints, and v
  Nets on Azure;
• CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required to facilitate employment.

Would Be Awesome If You Have

• Hands-on scripting knowledge (e. g. , Bash, Power
  Shell, or Python) for database automation tasks;
• Exposure to Kubernetes tools like Helm, Kustomize, and kubectl for deployment and troubleshooting;
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and the role of databases in release pipelines;
• Awareness of data privacy, governance, and compliance standards;
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
