What are we looking for?

Job Description:

• Monitor and optimize performance of assigned database systems.
• Define and implement robust database backup and recovery strategies.
• Plan and execute database upgrade strategies.
• Administer and maintain the BI stack (OBIEE, ODI, OAS, Web
  Logic, Apache, Tomcat).
• Configure and support database infrastructure for business and technology needs.
• Perform installations, reconfigurations, and backups for both
  - premises and cloud setups.
• Develop automation for routine database administration tasks.
• Oversee software lifecycle management of database products.
• Generate performance reports and statistics.
• Ensure 24/7 monitoring and availability of database platforms within a Paa
  S environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with at least two of the following: Oracle, My
  SQL Server, Postgre
  SQL.
• Strong expertise in My
  SQL HA/DR solutions: Inno
  DB Cluster, Inno
  DB Replica
  Set, Inno
  DB Cluster
  Set, My
  SQL Replication.
• Familiar with Oracle Analytics tools (OBIEE, ODI, OAS), ORDS, Apache HTTP Server, and Tomcat.
• Proficient with Linux/UNIX and Windows Server OS.
• Solid understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery architectures: AServer clustering and virtual infrastructures.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Portuguese citizen.
