Database Administrator
Profile:
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience;
- Able to work independently, liaise with staff at all levels, and manage tasks effectively to meet deadlines;
- Available to work shifts (10-hour shifts, 5 days a week) and
- call approximately one week per month;
- Self-motivated, pragmatic, willing to share knowledge, and skilled at persuading and influencing others;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2), both at business and technical levels. Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain AWS database services (RDS, Aurora Postgre
SQL/My
SQL, Redshift);
- Monitor, tune, and optimize database performance and queries;
- Manage workloads and ensure high availability of critical systems;
- Support 360° databaselayer across multiple services and technologies;
- Participate in international projects and influence technology decisions;
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues efficiently;
- Contribute to best practices and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Knowledge of AWS services like S3, IAM, Lambda, and Cloud
