We are looking for an Database Reliability Engineer!

Responsibilities :

You will install and configure the Postgre
SQL, My
SQL, Maria
DB and/or Mongo
DB software.

Create new databases or migrate existing databases.

Implement and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA).

You do the daily management of our clients' databases: backups, monitoring, capacity management.

You perform technology conversions, transferring data from one database technology to the other (e. g. : from Oracle to Postgre
SQL).

You take care of Database Security: reviews, encryption, data masking, auditing,

You automate installation, configuration and maintenance tasks.

You provide second and third line support to customers.

You are adept at performance tuning and rolling out best practices.

You carry out preventive maintenance at customers' sites and implement the resulting recommendations: performance tuning, patch level management.

You always provide the necessary documentation and procedures (SOP).

You work on new trends in the database field and further automation.

You regularly want to learn more about open source databases and obtain certification.

Requirements :

We expect a good knowledge of Postgre
SQL, a basic knowledge of My
SQL and/or Maria
DB and knowledge of Linux.

Mongo
DB and Oracle experience. Plus

Public Cloud knowledge and experience: Azure, Amazon or Google. Plus

Dev
Ops knowledge : Git
Hub, CI/CD. Plus

Automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform. Plus

Containerisation (e. g. Kubernetes). Plus

Backup software. Plus

Monitoring software. Plus

Experience with performance tuning. Plus

Scripting knowledge.

Proficiency in English.
