We are looking for a Datacenter Infrastructure Architect to join our Client's team on a hybrid working model from Lisbon or Porto.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement datacenter architectures covering servers, storage, networks, virtualization, and security.
• Define technical requirements for new projects and infrastructure upgrades.
• Support technology and vendor selection, evaluating hardware, software, and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Plan capacity for servers, storage, networking, and power requirements.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery through clustering, replication, and backup/restore strategies.
• Produce technical documentation including High Level Design (HLD), Low Level Design (LLD), and runbooks.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including security, operations, development, and external providers.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with standards and regulations (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR, regulatory bodies).

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure.
• Proven track record in datacenter design and implementation projects.
• Strong knowledge in:
• Virtualization: Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM), VMware, or KVM.
• Servers: HPE, Dell, Lenovo, or equivalent.
• Storage: SAN, NAS, SDS, synchronous/asynchronous replication.
• Networking: switching, routing, VLANs, load balancers, firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
• Security: WAF, segmentation,
  - segmentation, access control.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery: RMAN, Veeam, Commvault, 3-2-1 policies, RPO/RTO.
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS, OCI) and integration with
  - premises systems.
• Certifications valued: VMware VCP, Oracle OCP, Red Hat RHCSA/RHCE, Cisco CCNP/CCIE, ITIL v4 Foundation/Expert, TOGAF (preferred).
• Fluent in English (B2/C1 level).
• Ability to work
  - site in Lisbon or Porto 2–3 times per week.
