The Datacenter Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing critical IT infrastructure solutions that ensure high availability, security, scalability, and resilience. Acting as a technical authority, this role will lead projects involving the construction and modernization of datacenters, aligning both physical and logical infrastructures with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement datacenter architectures (servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and security).
• Define technical requirements for new infrastructure projects and upgrades.
• Support technology and vendor selection, evaluating hardware, software, and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Perform capacity planning (servers, storage, networking, and power).
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery (HA, clustering, replication, backup/restore).
• Develop technical documentation (High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, runbooks).
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams (security, operations, development, vendors).
• Support audits and regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR, industry regulators).

Technical Requirements

• Proven experience in datacenter design and implementation.

Strong expertise in:

• Virtualization: Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM), VMware, or KVM.
• Servers: HPE, Dell, Lenovo, or equivalent.
• Storage: SAN, NAS, SDS, synchronous/asynchronous replication.
• Networking: switching, routing, VLANs, load balancers, firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
• Security: WAF, segmentation,
  - segmentation, access control.
• Backup & DR: RMAN, Veeam, Commvault, 3-2-1 backup policies, RPO/RTO.
• Hybrid Cloud: Azure, AWS, OCI, and
  - prem integration.
• Preferred certifications:
• VMware VCP / Oracle OCP / Red Hat RHCSA/RHCE
• Cisco CCNP/CCIE
• ITIL v4 Foundation/Expert
• TOGAF (a plus)
