Profile:

- Proven expertise as a DB2 DBA, with strong experience in technical planning and system migrations;



- Solid understanding of IBM DB2 upgrade/migration strategies and their impact on enterprise systems;



- Strong technical documentation and communication skills;



- Ability to validate and support execution steps, even when performed by
- party teams;



- Availability totravel and provide
- time support during key execution phases. Responsibilities:

- Inventory and characterise all DB2 environments;



- Assess databaseobsolescence and its impact on correlated application systems;



- Define appropriate upgrade or migration strategies;



- Conduct

- concept tests and version compatibility checks with dependent applications;



- Produce technical reports outlining recommendations, timelines, risk assessments, mitigation strategies and effort estimations;



- Review and validate execution runbooks developed by other teams, ensuring accuracy, rollback coverage and feasibility;



- Provide live supportand troubleshooting during critical execution windows;



- Design alternative solutions when direct upgrades are unfeasible (e. G. , schema refactoring, conversion tools, compatibility layers, microservices);



- Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure alignment and compliance throughout the transformation;



- Willingness to travel to the UK;
