The role – DBA

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage relational databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability
• Develop and execute regular backup strategies; manage disaster recovery plans to minimize data loss and downtime
• Maintain and ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across all databases
• Implement security measures including access controls, encryption, and auditing to safeguard sensitive data and comply with regulations
• Automate database tasks through scripting and collaborate with
  - functional teams.

Your profile

• You have completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in managing Microsoft SQL Server and/or Azure SQL Services
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e. g. , Python, Power
  Shell) for automating database tasks
• Experience designing and implementing backup strategies and disaster recovery plans
• Strong expertise in performance optimization, query tuning, and troubleshooting
• Ability to lead database projects, mentor junior DBAs, and collaborate effectively with
  - functional teams
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Portuguese.
