What You’ll Do

• Ensure high availability, performance, and data integrity through proactive monitoring, tuning, and incident response.
• Collaborate with development teams to apply best practices in modeling, indexing, and query optimization.
• Maintain

  - date technical documentation and operational procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• Solid experience as a Database Administrator working with DB2 (LUW/z
  OS), Sybase ASE, Postgre
  SQL, and Mongo
  DB.
• Expertise in performance tuning, backup/restore strategies, and high availability configurations.
• Hands-on knowledge of tools like db2top, sp_sysmon, pg
  Back
  Rest, Patroni, Mongo Shell, and Ops Manager.
• Scripting skills in Shell, Python or Ansible, and experience with monitoring stacks (Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic).
• Strong background in Linux/Unix environments and containerized infrastructures (e. g. , Docker).
• Familiarity with Dev
  Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control using Git.
• Analytical mindset, autonomy, and ability to work across teams in complex technical ecosystems.
• Clear communication skills and a strong sense of ownership.
