Your mission will be…
- Organize all defect management activities in the Release to ensure successful
- live; this includes the defect lifecycle from creation to resolution and closure, in collaboration with Process Testers, Test Managers, Process Teams, and Developers. - Create defect corrections with relevant transports.
- Follow up regularly on defects to ensure timely closure.
- Maintain defects in the Defect Management Tool.
- Ensure synchronization of defect corrections across different system lines through XLDs.
- Facilitate unblocking of defects through moderation of meetings with relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct and moderate regular meetings to provide defect status updates for the Release.
- Identify process improvements to ensure efficient defect management activities.
- Ensure defect documentation complies with audit requirements.
We are looking for someone with…
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software development, or a related field.
- Proven work experience in Software Testing environments, ideally 5 years.
- Knowledge of Test Management Tools, ideally SAP Solution Manager.
- Understanding of the Defect Management Process.
- ISTQB Certified Tester.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong quality mindset, structured thinking, and proactive
- solving skills. - Good communication and networking skills across hierarchy levels, capable of interacting with teams virtually and
- site. - Proactive team player in an intercultural environment.
- Technical understanding and quick learning ability.
- Familiarity with Agile Methodologies.
- Availability to travel.
