Demand and Supply Planner
Reporting to the National Operations Manager, the Demand and Supply Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining an 18-month rolling demand plan for finished goods and POS materials at multiple levels of aggregation, utilizing statistical models and insights from Sales, Marketing, and Finance. The role involves managing supply flow to ensure 100% stock availability and optimal inventory levels, aligning with the company's financial and sales plans. Collaboration with peers in Red Bull Portugal is essential to develop, implement, and share best practices in line with HQ standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Demand Planning
- Analyze historical sales data, trends, growth, distribution, and market share to develop and analyze statistical forecasts, and establish the Operations Demand Plan to challenge and align with the Sales Demand Plan.
- Collaborate with Sales to review past performance, conduct root cause analyses, and identify inconsistencies.
- Challenge and validate the latest sales demand plan, understanding underlying assumptions, and reconcile with the Operations Demand Plan.
- Lead S&OP meetings to reach consensus on forecasts and update planning tools accordingly.
- Align and compile Placement Forecasts for POS items, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Improve forecast accuracy and provide insights for portfolio management and SKU reviews.
S&OP Planning / Execution
- Generate monthly local Supply Plans based on the consensus Demand Plan for input into the Global S&OP process.
- Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts, ensure alignment with business plans, and maintain product quality standards.
- Lead solutions for demand and supply imbalances and manage product transitions.
- Provide rolling forecasts for inbound, storage, and outbound volumes to 3PLs.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- At least 3 years of experience in Demand & Supply Planning or Sales Forecasting, preferably in FMCG.
- Knowledge of retail operations, forecasting systems, market research, and supply chain management.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to conduct complex quantitative and qualitative analyses.
- Proficiency in SAP ERP and Planning tools.
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.
- Self-motivated with

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
