Demand Planning Manager
Strategic Staffing Solutions' client is a company, which is a leader in the insurtech sector, specializing in technology insurance. They offer comprehensive services related to the protection and maintenance of mobile devices, providing their customers with a convenient and completely digital service. Their services include financing, repair and even replacement of devices. They operate in the European, Asian and African markets, serving almost 8 million customers.
As Demand Planning Manager, you will drive timely research of forecasts, actuals, and historical sales data to predict future product consumption. You will collaborate with
- functional teams to ensure alignment on inventory levels and implement strategies to optimise supply chain efficiency while minimising costs.
This role requires strong analytical ability,
- functional collaboration, and a strategic mindset to ensure product availability and
- effective operations across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse historical sales and subscriber data, market trends, seasonality, and consumer behaviour to develop accurate demand and purchase forecasts across clients, countries, and regions.
- Interpret complex data sets to identify patterns, insights, and opportunities that enhance demand planning strategies.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, product development, and finance teams to align demand and cash forecasts with overall business objectives.
- Manage inventory to ensure optimal product availability, meeting customer demand while avoiding overstocking.
- Track and evaluate demand forecast accuracy, adjusting models and methods to improve performance.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and market trends to senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve demand planning processes, tools, and methodologies for greater efficiency and accuracy.
- Coordinate demand planning activities across multiple countries, considering local market conditions, cultural nuances, and regulations.
- Identify and assess potential supply chain or market risks, communicate findings to relevant stakeholders, and develop mitigation plans.
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management
- Strong communication skills (including English) and ability to work independently
- Strong coordination, teamwork, and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field would be good to have
- Background in telecommunications and/or insurance sectors would be good to have
- Experience working across multiple geographical markets would be good to have
