Derivatives Consultant (Accounting Control) Lisboa

Overview

We are looking for a Derivatives Consultant to join our Inetum Team and be a part of a work culture focused on innovation.

Location: Lisbon

Main Responsibilities

• Reconcile positions, margins, and premiums between Back Office and Clearing Houses.
• Ensure accurate and timely client reporting.
• Monitor corporate actions impacting derivatives contracts.
• Maintain accounting balances (CCP vs client cash flows).
• Handle client queries with precision and professionalism.
• Support internal projects and system enhancements.
• Document procedures and track KPIs.

Qualifications

• Academic background in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field
• 2 years of Banking Operations, Financial Markets, Accounting within a capital markets context or other relevant experience
• General Financial Markets, Structured Products and Investment Funds knowledge
• Fluency in English (mandatory)
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Driven to teamwork

Hybrid work - office in Lisbon (2/3x per week)
