Tech app | Circle For Pets

Circle For Pets is the first social Pet
Tech app, currently incubated at Fundação Bissaya Barreto and supported by the Fator C’Idade programme, Instituto Pedro Nunes, and Coimbra Coolectiva.

We are developing a social platform for the pet ecosystem, connecting pet owners, veterinarians, pet sitters, and animal welfare associations in a single digital space. The app is designed to enable collaboration, trust, and faster
- world action through pet geolocation, lost pet alerts, and shared community tools.

The product is already in development, with the MVP being built using Firebase and a modern web stack.

We are now looking for one Firebase Developer to collaborate on the technical development of Circle For Pets.

The platform focuses on:

Social interaction between users and professionals

User and professional profiles

Pet geolocation and
- time lost pet alerts

A solid and scalable Firebase-based architecture

? Who we’re looking for

Hands-on and practical mindset

Autonomous, reliable, and collaborative

Motivated by
- driven and socially relevant projects

Experience with Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions) or strong
- learning ability

? Collaboration model

Initial collaboration as a volunteer

Paid role after funding
