We are now seeking a Java Developer willing to accept new challenges in our Closer team in Porto.

*For this position you need to have residency in Portugal.

ARE YOU THE ONE? ?

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop reusable code and libraries for future projects.
• Deliver
  - designed, testable backend code following best practices.
• Integrate Io
  T devices and software into a complete system.
• Collaborate closely with team members on feature development.
• Assist with daily tasks within the Agile Feature Team.
• Provide technical support, system configurations, and monitoring.
• Conduct integration testing with
  - party systems.
• Manage database operations and troubleshooting.
• Engage in 3rd-line support, interacting directly with clients to understand and resolve issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• ~3 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• Strong understanding of OOP principles, API integration, relational databases, and Git.
• Intermediate English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Excellent analytical and
  - solving skills, with experience in quality and production environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills—must be a team player.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Client-facing experience (e. G. , 3rd-line support)—ability to troubleshoot and respond to technical issues.

Additional Notes:

• Hybrid work model (minimum 2 days per week onsite in Leça da Palmeira, Portugal).
