CTS Group SA is looking for an experienced, innovative, and resourceful professional to join our team in our office in Lisbon. This position is a
- time position.

Responsibilities (but are not limited to):

• Lead and manage the design development process for data center projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure cohesive design solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Nordic/European building codes, industry regulations, and sustainability practices.
• Oversee the preparation and review of architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Drive design optimization to enhance efficiency, scalability, and operational performance.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet design objectives.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to incorporate client requirements into design solutions.
• Conduct design reviews and risk assessments to mitigate potential issues early in the process.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data center design.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the design team.

Qualifications:

• Data center experience required.
• Senior – Minimum 8 years with 2+ years of work experience with data centers is a must.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree study in Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in design management, business management preferably within the data center, industrial, or commercial construction sectors.
• Strong knowledge of architectural, structural, and MEP systems in data center environments.
• Familiarity with Nordic/European building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Proficiency in design software such as Auto
  CAD, Revit, and BIM tools.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong
  - solving,
  - making, and leadership capabilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a
  - paced,
  - tech environment with tight deadlines.
• English Proficiency is mandatory both written and oral.

We are looking for someone who:

• Strong background of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
• Experience working in
  - critical facilities, such as data centers, hospitals, or energy infrastructure.
• Knowledge of sustainability and
  - efficient solutions in data center design.
• Ability to effectively communicate design standards to internal and external project partners.
• Excellent teamwork skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Great organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and
  - quality standards.
• Knowledge and experience to work with the Data centers international standards, like ASHRAE, Uptime Institute, TIA, EN50600.
