Position: Developer C/C++

Location: Hybrid | Maia, Porto

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering (or related fields);

Strong knowledge of embedded systems (hardware and firmware);

Solid experience in C/C++ development (preferably C++11 or newer), with clean, efficient, and maintainable coding practices;

Good hardware design and simulation skills;

Strong understanding of electronics or/and electrical energy systems – generation, transmission, distribution, and consumption;

Related to the experience in energy systems, it is necessary to have knowledge in modeling/simulation of electrical networks (e. g. , Power Flow, Load Allocation, State Estimation, Demand-Side Management, Fault Location);

Familiarity with simulation tools such as Matlab, Simulink, and Simscape Electrical;

Experience with version control tools (SVN/GIT);

Basic knowledge of Linux (a plus);

Understanding of energy markets (optional);

Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum (a plus);
