- driven professional who combines technical expertise with strong leadership skills. You’ll be responsible for overseeing development projects from concept to completion, managing internal teams and external partners, and ensuring every project meets East
Banc’s standards of design, quality, budget, and timing.

Banc Portugal was established in 2005 after the company began investing in the country in 2000. Today, we manage and develop a portfolio of historic and exclusive properties focusing on the
- term appreciation of commercial, residential, and hospitality assets.
Currently, East
Banc Portugal oversees an urban rehabilitation real estate fund backed by two international reference investors. The portfolio includes approximately 20 premium properties located in Lisbon. The company aims to grow its portfolio within the neighborhood while also expanding into
- scale development projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage all project phases, from
- development to completion, reporting to the Head of Development. - Manage design, budgets, schedules, contract administration, and project execution.
- Coordinate and supervise designers, consultants, and suppliers.
- Formulate and report project objectives, financials, and timelines.
- Manage licensing processes with local authorities and heritage departments.
- Maintain transparent communication across internal departments.
- Identify project risks, including regulatory delays or technical challenges, and recommend mitigations.
- Plan and implement project management activities for your own projects while supporting the wider portfolio.
- Support all departments with design and construction expertise, while fostering a collaborative and accountable work environment.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree or Master’s in Architecture, Engineering, Design Management, or related field (additional training is a plus).
- Minimum of 10 years' experience managing design and construction phases of residential, commercial, or
- use developments. - Proven leadership and team mentoring capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of Portuguese permitting laws, regulations, and design practices.
- Financial literacy with experience in budgeting and project financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power
Point, Auto
CAD, and project management software. - Strong analytical and
- making skills. - Fluent in Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Resilient under pressure and
- oriented. - Creative and adaptive mindset, capable of identifying “out-of-the-box” solutions.
