DevOps Coach Lisboa

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Dev
Ops Coach to guide our teams in adopting Dev
Ops principles and cultivating a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement. As a Dev
Ops Coach, you will work across teams to assess their practices, facilitate training, and implement strategies for fostering seamless integration between development and operations. Location: Lisbon, Portugal.

Responsibilities

• Create awareness and advocate for Dev
  Ops culture and its core values
• Bridge gaps between developers and operations teams to improve communication and collaboration
• Assess team maturity by examining applications and existing workflows
• Define roadmaps to achieve necessary levels of Dev
  Ops maturity, including Continuous Everything strategies
• Share best practices, processes, and tools through tailored training sessions and workshops
• Contribute to designing and implementing components of the Dev
  Ops pipeline
• Evaluate progress and provide feedback on the implementation of Dev
  Ops practices
• Break down silos and address blockages to streamline operations
• Foster synergies between development and operations workstreams
• Facilitate effective handovers to clients to ensure a seamless transition
• Collaborate with other coaches to drive organizational alignment and consistency

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Agile, CI/CD, and infrastructure roles, including exposure to automation and Dev
  Ops pipelines
• Knowledge of Cloud computing platforms, virtualization technologies (VM), and Infrastructure as Code tools
• Background in ITIL practices, monitoring solutions, and production systems
• Proficiency with RHEL-based environments and general production knowledge of
  - native and hybrid setups
• Strong communication, leadership, and adaptability skills to foster team alignment and resolve challenges
