As a Dev
Ops Software Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the Dev
Ops approach within an organization. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between development and operations teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient delivery of
- quality software products. You should know how to design, implement, and maintain tools and processes for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) of software using various cloud platforms. The primary goal is to automate repetitive tasks, reduce manual intervention, and improve the overall user experience, quality, and reliability of software products.
Responsibilities
- You should be able to Design, Develop, Test and Maintain CI/CD pipeline, and ability to maintain continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) process using tools like Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Docker etc.
- Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for Dev
Ops operation. - Automate, manage, and optimize the deployment and Infrastructure of applications on public cloud like AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Collaborating with development and operations teams to identify and address bottlenecks in the software development lifecycle.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application development, deployment, and operations.
- Monitoring and managing infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Should understand how to choose the best tools and technologies which best fits the business needs.
Qualifications
- BE/ME/MCA or any other degree in related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant Dev
Ops experience. - Hands-On experience on various Dev
Ops concepts and tools like Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD), Git, Jenkins, Sonar
Qube, Artifactory/Nexus. - Strong knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, Ruby, or Java.
- Good Experience in building, designing, and maintaining
- based applications with AWS, Azure, GCP etc. - Good Knowledge of Container & Container Orchestration tools like Docker, AWS ECS, Kubernetes.
- Experience working on Linux based infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in
- functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Data Protection, Privacy and Security domain.
- Knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Understanding of agile methodologies and principles.
