Responsibilities:
- Building, configuring, and deploying Web applications and services in cloud and
- premises environments - Integrating various services (databases, storage, APIs) into web applications
- Automating processes and optimizing workflows using CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborating with
- functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment - Monitoring and troubleshooting Open
Shift environments, ensuring high availability and scalability - Configuring, maintaining, and monitoring infrastructure management tools to ensure maximum availability, reliability, and security
- Staying up to date on emerging Dev
Ops trends, technologies, and tools - Working closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers
- Active participation in scrum engagements
You must have:
- You have an educational background as Software Engineer or similar, combined with a thorough knowledge of Backend software development
- 5+ years’ experience in Dev
Ops or similar role - Strong understanding of and experience with Kubernetes/Open
Shift and Linux - Hands-on experience of Linux environment and networking
- Experience with automation: Docker, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python) and CI/CD tools (Git
Lab, Jenkins) - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and
- premise infrastructure - Understanding of virtualized infrastructure (VMs, software defined networks, software defined storage)
- Understanding of distributed systems and web architectures design principles
- Good experience of working with CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab for automated deployments
- Familiar or experience with agile development methodology
- Good communication and analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills in English are mandatory
- Portuguese residency and eligibility to work in Portugal.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, both in Portuguese and English
- Availability to go to the office once or twice per week, in Lisbon.
