DevOps Engineer
Overview
Odds Scanner Group is expanding our team in Lisbon and looking for a highly skilled Dev
Ops Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure solutions. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, automate workflows, and enhance system performance. The ideal candidate has a strong background in cloud platforms, infrastructure as code (Ia
C), and Dev
Ops best practices.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery processes.
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (Ia
C) tools like Cloud
Formation, Terraform, or similar to automate infrastructure management. - Monitor system performance, identify and resolve issues, and optimize resource use.
- Automate administrative tasks using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Power
Shell. - Collaborate with developers to refine and improve application deployment strategies.
- Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards.
- Manage containerized environments using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Set up and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
- Partner with
- functional teams to enhance the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of systems.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of work experience, with at least 3 of those as a Dev
Ops Engineer. - Minimum of 3 years experience working with Linux.
- Experience with containerization (such as Docker or similar) and orchestration (such as Kubernetes, Openshift or similar).
- Proficiency in Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure and/or GCP).
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins, Git
Hub, Git
Lab CI, and/or Argo
CD). - Hands-on experience with Cloud
Formation, Terraform, Ansible or similar tools. - Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python or Power
Shell. - Experience with logging and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
- Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Git
Hub, Git
Lab). - Experience working in Agile and Dev
Sec
