Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Dev
Ops Engineer to join our
- site team in Matosinhos. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the deployment, performance, and security of a modern platform powered by Angular 15+, Node. js, Type
Script, Java
Script, Strapi 4. 12+, and Postgre
SQL. You will manage CI/CD workflows, monitor infrastructure across cloud and
- metal environments, and take full ownership of SSL certificate lifecycle management, domain renewals, and Cloudflare security integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git
  Hub Actions for Node. js backend, Angular frontend, and Strapi-based APIs.
• Administer Linux (Debian/Ubuntu) and Windows Server systems across cloud and
  - metal environments.
• Automate infrastructure setup and maintenance using Terraform, Ansible, or custom scripts.
• Configure Nginx reverse proxies and implement SSL (DV, OV, EV, SAN, Wildcard), ensuring timely renewals.
• Monitor and enforce SSL certificate and domain expiry tracking using automated alerts, cron tasks, or monitoring dashboards.
• Integrate Cloudflare for WAF, caching, rate limiting, bot mitigation, and SSL termination.
• Secure Strapi 4. 12+ APIs behind Baffle Shield, including token validation and
  - level encryption.
• Ensure database integrity and performance through Postgre
  SQL monitoring, access control, and idle transaction pruning.
• Deploy and manage PM2 for Node. js processes, ensuring high availability and resilience.
• Configure firewalls and intrusion prevention systems (CSF, Fail2Ban), enforcing strong network segmentation.
• Support deployments across
  - tiered environments: contractor, dev2,
  - production, and production.
• Maintain disaster recovery strategies, including backup scheduling and automated recovery scripts.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to align infrastructure with evolving business needs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in Dev
  Ops, infrastructure, or systems administration.
• Strong
  - level experience with Type
  Script, Angular, Node. js, Postgre
  SQL, and Strapi 4. 12+.
• Proven knowledge of SSL certificate management, including DV, OV, EV, SAN, and Wildcard types.
• Hands-on experience with Linux (Debian/Ubuntu) and Windows Server platforms.
• Experience managing Cloudflare (WAF, DNS, proxying, and rule configurations).
• Proficient in Shell scripting, Git
  Hub CI/CD workflows, and systemd/PM2 service orchestration.
• Familiar with token-based authentication, secure headers, and traffic encryption inspection.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Knowledge of Keycloak, JWT authentication, and secure identity federation.
• Experience with Baffle. io or similar structured encryption tools.
• Familiarity with domain lifecycle management and automated renewal workflows via APIs.
• Strong documentation and communication skills in English and Portuguese.
